A gluten-free version of the classic Quebec dessert pudding chômeur. Rich and indulgent, it's a comforting treat for everyone!
Ingredients
☐1 cup (120 g) almond flour
☐1 cup (200 g) brown sugar
☐1 cup (240 ml) milk
☐1/2 cup (120 g) butter, melted
☐2 eggs
☐2 tsp (10 g) baking powder
☐1 tsp (5 g) vanilla extract
☐1/2 cup (120 ml) maple syrup
☐1 cup (240 ml) hot water
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix almond flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
Pour into a greased baking dish and drizzle with maple syrup.
Pour hot water over the mixture without stirring.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
