Ingredients
☐3 lbs pork shoulder (1.4 kg)
☐1 cup maple syrup (250 ml)
☐2 medium onions, chopped
☐4 cloves garlic, minced
☐1 tbsp Dijon mustard (15 ml)
☐1 tsp thyme (5 ml)
☐Salt and pepper to taste
☐1 cup chicken broth (250 ml)
Directions
In a slow cooker, combine the pork, onions, and garlic.
Mix maple syrup, mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Pour the mixture over the pork.
Add the chicken broth.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Once done, shred the pork and mix with the sauce.
Serve with mashed potatoes or bread.
