Ingredients
☐4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
☐1 cup heavy cream
☐1 cup grated cheese (Gruyère or Cheddar)
☐2 tablespoons butter
☐2 cloves garlic, minced
☐Salt and pepper to taste
☐Chopped chives for garnish
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a baking dish, layer sliced potatoes and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
Pour cream over the potatoes, then top with grated cheese.
Dot with butter and cover with foil.
Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
Let it cool slightly before serving and garnish with chives.
