These delicious roasted carrots drizzled with maple syrup make a perfect side dish. Their natural sweetness is enhanced by the rich flavor of maple.
Ingredients
☐1 lb (450 g) carrots, peeled
☐2 tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup
☐2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
☐1 tsp (5 g) salt
☐1/2 tsp (2 g) black pepper
☐1 tsp (5 g) dried thyme
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut the carrots into sticks.
In a bowl, mix maple syrup, olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Add the carrots and toss to coat.
Spread the carrots on a baking sheet.
Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and caramelized.
Serve warm.
