This unique Quebec-style sushi features smoked salmon and cream cheese, wrapped in nori with a hint of dill.
Ingredients
☐2 cups (400 g) sushi rice
☐2 1/2 cups (600 ml) water
☐1/4 cup (60 ml) rice vinegar
☐1 tbsp sugar
☐1 tsp salt
☐4 sheets nori
☐8 oz (225 g) smoked salmon
☐4 oz (115 g) cream cheese
☐Fresh dill, for garnish
Directions
Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear.
Combine rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, then let it cool.
Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl.
Fold the vinegar mixture into the cooled rice.
On a bamboo mat, place a nori sheet and spread a layer of rice.
Add smoked salmon and cream cheese in the center.
Roll tightly, slice, and garnish with dill.
