Ingredients
☐2 lbs (900 g) beef chuck, cut into cubes
☐3 cups (750 ml) beef broth
☐2 carrots, sliced
☐2 potatoes, diced
☐1 onion, chopped
☐2 cloves garlic, minced
☐1 tsp (5 g) dried thyme
☐Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large pot, brown the beef cubes on all sides.
Add the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
Pour in the beef broth and add the carrots, potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
