A spicy twist on the classic Quebec poutine featuring cheese curds and gravy.
Ingredients
☐4 cups fries (1 kg)
☐2 cups cheese curds (500 g)
☐2 cups brown gravy (500 ml)
☐1 tsp cayenne pepper (5 g)
☐1 tsp smoked paprika (5 g)
☐Salt to taste
☐Green onion, chopped for garnish
Directions
Fry the potatoes until golden and crispy.
In a saucepan, heat the brown gravy and stir in cayenne and paprika.
Place the hot fries on a plate.
Pour the spicy gravy over the fries.
Sprinkle cheese curds on top.
Garnish with chopped green onions.
