A unique twist on the classic burger with a pudding chômeur sauce. This dessert-inspired burger is a sweet and savory delight.
Ingredients
☐1 lb (450 g) ground beef
☐4 burger buns
☐1/2 cup (120 ml) maple syrup
☐1/4 cup (60 g) brown sugar
☐1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
☐1 tsp (5 g) vanilla extract
☐2 tbsp (30 g) butter
☐Salt and pepper to taste
☐Lettuce and tomato for topping
Directions
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into patties.
Grill or pan-fry the patties until cooked through.
In a saucepan, melt butter and combine maple syrup, brown sugar, and heavy cream.
Bring to a simmer and stir until thickened.
Assemble the burgers with lettuce and tomato, then drizzle with the sauce.
Serve immediately.
