Ingredients
☐1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
☐1 cup (200 g) sugar
☐1 tsp baking powder
☐1/2 tsp salt
☐1/2 cup (115 g) butter, softened
☐1 cup (240 ml) milk
☐1 cup (200 g) brown sugar
☐1 1/2 cups (360 ml) hot water
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add softened butter and milk, stirring until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and hot water.
Pour the brown sugar mixture over the batter without stirring.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
