This moist and flavorful oatmeal bread is sweetened with pure Quebec maple syrup, making it a delightful addition to any meal.
Ingredients
☐2 cups rolled oats (180 g)
☐1 cup all-purpose flour (120 g)
☐1/2 cup maple syrup (120 ml)
☐1/2 cup milk (120 ml)
☐1/4 cup vegetable oil (60 ml)
☐1 tsp baking powder (5 g)
☐1/2 tsp baking soda (2 g)
☐1/2 tsp salt (2 g)
☐1 egg
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup, oil, and egg.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool before slicing and serving.
