A light and flavorful dish of trout baked with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
Ingredients
☐2 whole trout, cleaned (approximately 1 lb each)
☐2 lemons, sliced
☐1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (15 g)
☐1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped (15 g)
☐2 cloves garlic, minced
☐Olive oil for drizzling
☐Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place trout on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Season the fish inside and out with salt and pepper.
Stuff the cavities with lemon slices, garlic, parsley, and dill.
Drizzle olive oil over the fish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Serve with additional lemon slices if desired.
