These delightful cream puffs are filled with a rich custard and topped with chocolate. Perfect for special occasions or a sweet treat!
Ingredients
☐1 cup (240 ml) water
☐1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
☐1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
☐1/4 tsp salt
☐4 large eggs
☐1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
☐1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar
☐1 tsp vanilla extract
☐4 oz (115 g) dark chocolate
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
Add flour and salt, stirring until a ball forms.
Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time.
Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
Once cooled, fill the puffs and top with melted chocolate.
