Ingredients
☐2 lbs (900 g) beef chuck, cubed
☐1 cup (250 ml) red wine
☐1 onion, chopped
☐2 carrots, sliced
☐4 cloves garlic, minced
☐2 cups (500 ml) beef broth
☐1 bay leaf
☐Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large pot, brown the beef cubes over medium heat.
Add the onion, carrots, and garlic; sauté until softened.
Pour in the red wine and beef broth.
Add the bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
Cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until the beef is tender.
