Juicy beef patties topped with sharp Quebec cheddar and caramelized onions, served on a soft bun.
Ingredients
☐1 lb (450 g) ground beef
☐1/2 cup (60 g) shredded Quebec cheddar
☐1 onion, sliced
☐2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
☐4 burger buns
☐Salt and pepper to taste
☐1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
☐Lettuce and tomato for toppings
Directions
Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the onions until caramelized.
Grill the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese on top during the last minute to melt.
Toast the burger buns on the grill.
Assemble the burger with lettuce, tomato, beef patty, and caramelized onions.
Serve hot.
