A deliciously simple baked trout recipe that combines the natural flavors of the fish with a sweet maple glaze. A perfect dish for a family dinner!
Ingredients
☐2 trout fillets (about 6 oz each)
☐1/4 cup maple syrup (60ml)
☐1 tbsp Dijon mustard (15g)
☐1 tbsp olive oil (15ml)
☐1/2 tsp salt (2g)
☐1/4 tsp black pepper (1g)
☐1 lemon, sliced
☐Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place trout fillets in a baking dish and pour the maple glaze over them.
Top with lemon slices.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
