Ingredients
☐1 cup all-purpose flour
☐1 cup sugar
☐1/2 cup butter, softened
☐2 large eggs
☐1/2 cup maple syrup
☐1/2 cup chopped pecans
☐1 teaspoon baking powder
☐1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, then add to the wet mixture.
Fold in the chopped pecans.
Pour into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
