Ingredients
☐1 cup all-purpose flour
☐1/2 cup cocoa powder
☐1 cup sugar
☐1/2 cup butter, softened
☐2 eggs
☐1 tsp baking soda
☐1/2 tsp salt
☐1/2 cup milk
☐1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with liners.
In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes.
Let cool before frosting with your favorite chocolate frosting.
