This savory cheese bread is packed with flavorful cheddar and aromatic herbs, making it perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
☐2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
☐1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (100 g)
☐1 tbsp baking powder (15 g)
☐1/2 tsp salt (2 g)
☐1/4 cup fresh herbs, chopped (30 g)
☐1 cup milk (240 ml)
☐1/4 cup butter, melted (60 g)
☐1 egg
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, cheese, and herbs.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg.
Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool before slicing.
